Dr. Minakshi Hande Rewatkar is a distinguished consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Management, bringing over 15 years of expertise to her role as Director and Consultant at VIMS Hospital, Nagpur. Her illustrious career spans various prestigious institutions and roles across India.
Dr. Minakshi Hande Rewatkar completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Nagpur, followed by postgraduation in Anaesthesia from Nair Hospital, Mumbai. She has served as Additional Divisional Medical Officer at Central Railway, Wardha, and as a Medical Officer at Subdistrict Hospital, Kamptee. Her residency experience includes notable tenures at institutions such as Bhausaheb Hire Medical College, BYL Nair Hospital, Tata Hospital (all in Mumbai), and Care Hospital, Nagpur.
Passionate about enhancing patient care, Dr. Minakshi Hande Rewatkar is a dedicated member of several medical societies including the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Indian Society for Study of Pain (ISSP), and the Indian Association of Orthopedic Surgeons (IAOS). She actively contributes as an Executive Member of the Association of Medical Faculties, Nagpur (AMF).
Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Minakshi Hande Rewatkar is certified as a Yoga Instructor and has a keen interest in classical dance. She is also a proficient Table Tennis player, having secured victories in tournaments organized by ISA and IMA, Nagpur, and participated at the Vidarbha level.

As a BLS (Basic Life Support) trainer, Dr. Rewatkar has imparted crucial life-saving skills to numerous individuals. Her dedication to healthcare and patient advocacy is reflected in her comprehensive approach to anaesthesia and pain management.
